Doug Williams landed his first role in a major film “The Nutty Professor” starring Eddie Murphy. From there, his off beat style of stand-up comedy that surrounds relationships with women and his life has made him a favorite from Comedy Central, NBC, to BET, where he filmed his first one hour stand-up comedy special.

He was a regular on Mike Binder's HBO series, "The Mind of the Married Man."He has also guest starred “The Bernie Mac Show.”

Currently, Doug is the host and Executive producer of the number one urban stand-up comedy show in the country on Starz “ Martin Lawrence Presents 1st Amendment Stand up,” now in its forth season.
