When he first started performing poetry, KnightKrawler did a show where he came from a dark corner of the room and did a piece that wowed the crowd. It was almost as if he teleported into the room. Someone later told him that nobody expected him to speak, and definitely not like that. He came out of nowhere, out of the dark, like a Knight Krawler. His style of poetry combines traditional slam with audience engagement and participation. Whether you are in the mood to laugh, cry, or simply be inspired, he has a message you will undoubtedly receive. KnightKrawler believes that you do not need a microphone or stage to speak from your heart. His first book “Endless Night” is a collection of short poems that reflect just that and his second work, “The Rules of Poetry”, speaks to others about his experiences writing and performing without sacrificing the beauty of what poetry is and the value of personal integrity. KnightKrawler has facilitated seminars and workshops for local colleges, elementary schools, the River Keeper, and the Jacksonville public libraries. He has also conducted motivational workshops, segments, and speeches on creative writing and non-violence for the Upward Bound program and the SOL Connection. Whether performing at a college or university, slam, spoken word venue, or street corner, he shows no hesitation when delivering his powerful messages. His words will move you, his delivery will surprise you, and you will never forget his words or performances.
